This is my first year participating in the Santa Speedo Run. I strongly believe that providing youth with sporting opportunities is a wonderful way to encourage a healthy, active lifestyle and it encourages positive community development. The money raised from the Speedo Run supports the Play Ball! foundation - an organization dedicated to funding sports for middle school children in the Boston area. While there are many competing interests to support this holiday season, I hope you can find a little space in your charitable contributions for Play Ball!
